Family Dollar is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in the United States to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with daily tasks, organize merchandise, and help lead store associates to maintain clean, well-stocked areas and achieve sales goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; strong communication and organizational skills.
• Previous store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical duties as needed.
• Strong customer service orientation and teamwork are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily store operations and front-line activities.
• Help customers with questions and concerns in a friendly manner.
• Organize merchandise from truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Follow corporate directives and maintain store security and assets.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom.
• Support payroll, scheduling, cash handling, and loss prevention duties.
• Supervise and develop Store Associates to ensure a positive environment.
