Job summary

Family Dollar LLC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with daily store activities, organize and stock merchandise, and help supervise and train Store Associates to maintain a safe, engaging shopping environment.

The role requires strong communication and organizational skills, a commitment to excellent customer service, and the ability to work in a fast-paced team setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, and handling payroll/scheduling/cash deposits.
• Train and develop Store Associates; supervise and maintain a safe, friendly environment.
