Job summary

Rack Room Shoes in Sacramento is seeking a Team Lead to supervise daily store operations and ensure 100% compliance with company policies. You will provide leadership, training, and direction from the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager to the store staff.

In this role, you will help achieve sales, service, and operational goals, cover during absences, and coordinate daily tasks such as customer service, POS operations, inventory, merchandising, payroll, and training of team members.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and welfare of employees and customers.
• Provide service training and leadership to staff to maintain service standards.
• Process POS transactions in line with policy including sales, discounts and refunds.
• Manage inventory control, shipping/receiving, pricing and markdowns.
• Maintain merchandising standards and visual presentation on the sales floor.
• Oversee scheduling, payroll budget, and attendance.
• Train and develop direct reports while enforcing customer service standards.
• Enforce loss prevention policies to protect company assets.
• Develop mastery of day-to-day operations.
