West Coast Convenience, parent of Loop Neighborhood Market, is seeking an Assistant Team Leader to support daily store operations and customer service excellence at California locations. You will coach the team, help manage scheduling, cash handling, and merchandising while ensuring safe, compliant operations.

You will occasionally lead in the Team Leader’s absence and help deliver a high-quality store experience aligned with company standards.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6–9 months of assistant manager or related experience.
• Strong math, English communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Team-oriented, organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable transportation and flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Retail, convenience, food service, or supervisory experience preferred.
• Willingness to learn and grow into a Team Leader role.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsabilidades

• Help train and coach team members.
• Provide coaching and support to drive performance.
• Promote a positive team environment.
• Lead the store in the Team Leader’s absence.
• Support daily operations for smooth, consistent execution.
• Assist with scheduling, timekeeping, and coverage.
• Handle cash, reports, and store paperwork accurately.
• Troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
• Support ordering, stocking, and merchandising.
• Monitor inventory, reduce shrink, and maintain presentation.
• Drive sales through promotions and merchandising standards.
• Track performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Deliver exceptional customer service on every shift.
• Resolve customer concerns quickly and professionally.
• Keep the store clean, organized, and welcoming.
• Follow company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Support food, fuel, and workplace safety standards.
• Maintain a safe environment for employees and customers.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
