Job summary

West Coast Convenience is seeking an Assistant Team Leader to support the Team Leader in all aspects of store operations at Loop Neighborhood Market locations in Perris, CA. This hands-on role involves coaching teammates, ensuring daily execution, and stepping in when the Team Leader is absent to maintain a high standard of service.

You will engage in training, scheduling, merchandising, cash handling, safety, and guest experience while fostering a positive, customer-focused team culture.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6–9 months of assistant manager or related experience.
• Strong math, English communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn and grow into a Team Leader role.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach team members to deliver consistent customer service.
• Assist with scheduling, timekeeping, and store coverage to ensure smooth operations.
• Support ordering, stocking, and merchandising to maintain presentation and stock levels.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve inquiries promptly.
• Follow safety policies and ensure a safe work environment for staff and customers.
