Five Below in Philadelphia is seeking a Store Systems Lead to own strategy, roadmap, and end-to-end delivery for front-end store systems and operations. You will work as the SME for Store Operations, collaborating with IT, training, and business teams to optimize workflows and scale systems with growth.

The role requires translating operational needs into system requirements, managing deployments, and driving post-launch governance and performance.

Responsibilities

• Own the strategy, roadmap, and execution for all store systems supporting front-end and store operations.
• Serve as the primary systems subject‑matter expert for Store Operations leadership.
• Identify opportunities to simplify workflows and reduce manual effort through system enhancements and integrations.
• Ensure store systems scale effectively with business growth and evolving operating models.
• Lead large, cross-functional initiatives with high operational and financial impact.
• Translate operational needs into clear, actionable system requirements for IT partners.
• Own system initiatives end-to-end: discovery, requirements, UAT, deployment, stabilization, and sustainment.
• Manage dependencies, risks, and tradeoffs across concurrent enterprise initiatives.
• Act as the primary liaison between Store Process & Systems and internal IT teams.
• Provide clear prioritization and business context to guide IT delivery and backlog decisions.
• Lead UAT strategy, test execution, defect triage, and release sign-off.
• Ensure strong governance, documentation, and change management for all system releases.
• Lead product implementation and rollout strategy for store systems.
• Partner with Process Enablement to ensure systems are field-ready and supported with training and communications.
• Monitor post-launch performance, adoption, and stability.
• Own ongoing maintenance, enhancements, and issue resolution for store systems.
• Quantify system benefits including productivity gains, error reduction, compliance improvements, and cost savings.
