Job summary

Five Below is seeking a Store Manager/Leader to drive the customer experience, supervise associates, and manage daily operations in our New Jersey location. You will supervise opening/closing, training, and merchandising while delivering fast, friendly service.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensures crew members wow the customer through personal contact with customers.
• Trains the crew on the BEST customer service experience; ensuring that each guest has a fast, friendly check out experience.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates to ensure they perform duties effectively and provide excellent customer service.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for quick placement on the floor.
• Act as Manager on Duty, taking responsibility for store operations, staff management, and customer service.
• Open or close the store, including securing cash, locking doors, and setting alarms.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates on store policies and procedures.
• Drive store sales and control expenses through merchandising and service improvements.
• Collaborate with store leadership on merchandising procedures and recovery efforts.
• Perform maintenance like cleaning and stock room upkeep.
