Five Below is seeking a capable retail leader to supervise crew, train staff, and ensure a vibrant guest experience. You’ll oversee daily store operations, manage opening/closing routines, and support onboarding to boost performance.

The role emphasizes high-energy leadership, effective communication, and hands-on involvement in merchandising, stock handling, and customer interactions at a fast-paced value retailer in Philadelphia area.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; college experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Creative thinking and problem solving; maintain composure under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all crew members are Wowing the Customer through personal contact with customers.
• Trains the crew on the B.E.S.T. customer service experience; ensuring that each guest has a fast, friendly checkout experience.
• Helps oversee the daily activities of all store associates, ensuring they perform duties effectively and provide excellent customer service.
• Assists with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for quick placement on the sales floor.
• Acts as Manager on Duty, taking full responsibility for store operations, staff management, and customer service issues.
• Manages opening/closing operations: securing cash, locking doors, setting alarms, and smooth daily operation.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates to improve performance.
• Drives store sales and controls expenses; seeks ways to boost merchandising and customer service.
• Partners with store leadership in merchandising procedures and World Recovery.
• Performs store maintenance: trash, sweeping, bathrooms, maintain stock room.
