Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Los Angeles is seeking a Store Support Team member to assist with scheduling and supervision of the Store Support Team, ensuring smooth daily operations and adherence to standard operating procedures.

You will train new Team Members, maintain inventory flow, resolve customer issues, and support store leadership in delivering top-tier customer service and safety standards. A flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months retail experience.
• Ability to train and manage Store Support Team Members.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and delegates tasks to Team Members.
• Works with Team Trainer to train Team Members for a high-performance team.
• Assists in training of new Team Members using learning checklists and training materials.
• Keeps all cases and shelves clean, well-stocked and properly rotated.
• Resolves difficult customer situations.
• Ensures all necessary breaks are given.
• Communicates team concerns to the Team Leader and Associate Team Leader.
• Communicates attendance issues or concerns to Team Leader and Store Leadership.
• Sets and achieves the highest standards of retail execution.
• Fosters a positive environment of teamwork and morale.
• Maintains awareness of customer flows and directs Team Members accordingly.
• Mentors and counsels Team Members to sustain high performance.
• Provides timely performance evaluations.
