Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a dedicated team member to contribute to a smooth-running store in Morton Grove. The role emphasizes opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and delivering a distinctive customer experience.

You will engage customers, assist with product inquiries, and support operations from vendor deliveries to inventory maintenance. This position focuses on teamwork, compliance, and delivering excellent service on a daily basis.

Qualifications

One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management, including systems start-ups and cash handling.
Completes product returns, order voids, refunds, cash drops, and provides change to registers.
Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
Engages customers by greeting and assisting with products and services, resolving issues to ensure a positive experience.
Assists with and coaches team members on warehouse and vendor ordering, backdoor openings for deliveries, and inventory processes.
Maintains accurate inventory counts and stockroom organization, and participates in pricing and signage compliance.
Supports bookkeeping activities, including cash reports and ledgers, and helps with store maintenance.
