Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a team-oriented individual to assist in opening and closing the store when management is unavailable, manage cash and transactions, and ensure the floor and stock room are ready for the business day. You will assist with deliveries and backdoor access for vendors while upholding accurate records.

You will engage customers, resolve questions, and model Walgreens’ service traits to provide a distinctive shopping experience.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management and handles required systems start-ups and cash handling.
• Completes product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provides change as requested to cash registers.
• Engages customers and patients, greets them, and assists with products and services to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Models and shares customer service best practices with team members to deliver a delightful customer experience.
• Registers all related sales and assists with order exceptions, reverse logistics, and price changes as required.
• Maintains inventory accuracy and assists in displays, pricing, and housekeeping to ensure a well-presented store.
