Job summary

Walgreens is seeking team members to operate retail functions with a focus on customer service and smooth store operations. You will open/close the store in management's absence, handle cash, process refunds, and ensure a welcoming, helpful customer experience at every interaction.

You will support back-door vendor deliveries, inventory accuracy, and storefront displays while maintaining compliant pricing and orderly stock. Training provided where needed.

Qualifications

• One year of leadership or retail key holder experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Preferred: PTCB certification or pharmacy license.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management and handles cash and start-ups.
• Completes returns, refunds, cash drops, and provides change for registers.
• Delivers a distinctive customer experience and assists customers.
• Handles back door for vendor deliveries and supports warehouse processes.
• Registers all sales, records scanning errors, price verifications and voids.
• Assists with order exceptions, reverse logistics, and displays resets.
• Maintains accurate inventory counts and stockroom organization.
• Performs basic pricing, signage, and local regulatory pricing tasks.
• Assists with bookkeeping activities and store maintenance requests.
• Ensures proper product separation and stock rotation; follows FIFO.
• Reports to management and maintains professional coworker relations.
• Supports pharmacy out window as requested.
