Job summary

Walgreens Chesterton is seeking a proactive team member to open and close the store, handle cash, and ensure floors and stock areas are ready for business. You will also assist with deliveries through back door access and maintain till records.

You will engage customers, resolve issues, train teammates on service best practices, and help with inventory, pricing, displays, and compliance. This hourly role offers opportunities for growth and teamwork.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store, handles cash and ensure readiness for the business day.
• Completes product returns, refunds, cash drops and provides change to registers.
• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Engages customers, greets and assists with products and services, resolves issues.
• Manages store keys, open/close without management as needed and assists with vendor deliveries.
• Maintains inventory accuracy, pricing signage and stock rotations.
• Supports displays, resets, and promotions; participates in reverse logistics and paperwork.
