Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Store Associate with leadership responsibilities to help open and close the store when management is unavailable, handle cash, and ensure floor and stock room readiness. You will engage customers, process returns and refunds, and support displays and pricing accuracy.

In this role you will coordinate with the team on inventory, backdoor deliveries, and basic bookkeeping tasks as needed, maintaining a positive, efficient store environment and compliant operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management, including cash handling.
• Completes product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provides change as requested to cash registers.
• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Maintains inventory counts and pricing signage; supports displays and resets.
• Assists with vendor deliveries through backdoor access and basic bookkeeping tasks.
