Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a capable store associate to open and close the store in the absence of management, handle cash tasks, and ensure daily readiness of floor and stockroom. You will assist with deliveries and back-door access as needed, while delivering a consistently friendly customer experience.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, resolving issues, and sharing best practices to maintain Walgreens service standards.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder experience.
• Fluent reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management, including required systems start-ups and cash handling.
• Completes returns, voids, refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provides change to registers.
• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Engages customers and patients by greeting and assisting with products and services; resolves issues for a positive experience.
• Communicates tasks to team members when management is not present and reports disciplinary issues to management.
