Job summary

Walgreens in Jonesborough, TN is seeking a Store Operations Associate to open and close the store when management is absent, handle required cash-startups, unlock back doors for deliveries, and ensure floor and stockroom readiness for the business day.

You will process returns, refunds, cash drops, price changes, and maintain accurate inventory; support pricing signage and display resets; assist with vendor deliveries and basic bookkeeping; and help deliver a friendly, service-driven customer

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Obtains and maintains valid PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management, including start-ups, cash handling, and ensuring floor and stock room are ready for the business day.
• Completes product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provides change as requested to cash registers.
• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services; resolves issues to ensure a positive experience.
• Maintains accurate inventory counts and on-hand quantities; supports pricing signage and displays; assists with vendor deliveries and backroom operations.
• Assists with exterior and interior maintenance and ensuring clean, neat store appearance; supports displays, resets, and promotions.
• Responsible for basic department pricing and ensuring compliance with pricing and local regulations.
