Job summary

Walgreens in Missouri is seeking a capable team member to support store operations. You will open and close the store in the absence of management, handle cash duties, and ensure the floor and stock room are ready for the business day, including opening the back door for deliveries.

You will engage customers, resolve issues, maintain inventory accuracy, assist with pricing, displays, and backroom workflows.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Ability to handle cash register duties and basic bookkeeping.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management, including cash handling and deliveries preparation.
• Completes product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops, and provides change to registers.
• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.
• Manages store keys and helps with vendor deliveries and backdoor logistics.
• Registers all related sales, monitors scanning errors, price verifications, and voids.
• Maintains inventory counts and pricing signage; supports displays and merchandising.
• Ensures compliance with state/local laws on regulated products; bag checks and housekeeping.
• Attends training and acts as liaison between management and team members.
