Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Store Associate with leadership and customer service skills to join our team in Missouri. You will be responsible for opening and closing the store in the absence of management, handling cash and system start-ups, and ensuring floor and stock room readiness for the business day.

You will engage customers, resolve questions, and model Walgreens service traits to deliver a distinctive experience.

Qualifications

One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

Opens and closes the store when management is absent, handling required systems start-ups and cash handling.
Completes product returns, refunds, cash drops and provides change at cash registers.
Models and delivers a distinctive customer experience.
Engages customers and patients, greets and offers assistance with products and services, and resolves issues to ensure a positive experience.
Maintains store integrity by following policies for pricing, advertisements, and stock displays; assists with inventory accuracy and backroom organization.
Supports management with vendor deliveries and backroom processes, including backdoor access for deliveries and reverse logistics.
Assists with basic department pricing, signage, and compliance with local regulations.
