Job summary

Walgreens in De Forest, MN is seeking a dedicated Store Lead to open and close the store when management is not present, handle required system start‑ups, cash handling, and ensure the floor and stock room are ready for the business day. You will engage customers, resolve issues, and help maintain a clean, organized store.

You will also assist with inventory and pricing, support back‑door vendor deliveries, and help with merchandising and store displays while modeling exceptional service.

Qualifications

• One year of leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Preferred: PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Open and close store in absence of management and manage cash handling.
• Register sales, handle refunds, voids, and price verifications.
• Maintain inventory accuracy, pricing signage, and stockroom organization.
• Assist with vendor deliveries and backdoor access for deliveries.
• Support displays, resets, and merchandising; monitor compliance with policies.
• Assist with exterior and interior maintenance and cleanliness.
• Assist at Pharmacy out window as requested.
• Comply with regulations on regulated products and perform bag checks.
