Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a store associate who can open and close the store in the absence of management, handle cash and register tasks, and ensure the floor and stockroom are ready for the business day. You will engage customers, resolve issues, and deliver friendly service.

Experience in leadership or key holder roles plus English proficiency is required; pharmacy-related certification/licensing per state may apply.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Obtains and maintains valid PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of management and handles required cash processes.
• Completes product returns, refunds, cash drops, and cash register changes.
• Delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Assists with vendor deliveries and backdoor access as needed.
• Maintains inventory accuracy and price signage in compliance with regulations.
