Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a store operations associate to perform opening and closing duties in the absence of store management, including system start-ups, cash handling, and ensuring the floor and stock room are ready for the business day. You may also be responsible for opening the back door for deliveries.

You will engage customers and patients, resolve issues, process returns, refunds, cash drops, and provide change at registers while supporting accurate pricing, inventory control, and displays.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Fluent reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Valid PTCB certification or state pharmacy licence as required.

Responsibilities

• Open/close store in absence of management and handle cash processes.
• Ensure store readiness for business and deliveries, including back door access.
• Engage customers, assist with products and services, and resolve issues.
• Process returns, refunds, cash drops, pricing changes, and inventory tasks.
• Support displays, resets, and basic housekeeping across store areas.
• Assist with vendor deliveries and pharmacy-out-window requests.
