Job summary

Walgreens is seeking an energetic team member to help open and close the store when management is not present, ensuring all systems start up, cash handling, and readiness for the day. You will assist with vendor deliveries, returns, and refunds, and maintain accurate cash register records.

You will engage customers and patients, greet them, and proactively offer help with products and services to deliver a distinctive Walgreens experience.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Obtains and maintains valid PTCB certification or pharmacy licence as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store in the absence of management, including all required systems start-ups, required cash handling, and ensuring the floor and stock room are ready for the business day.
• Completes product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provides change as requested to cash registers.
• Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services; resolves customer issues to ensure a positive experience.
