Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service by greeting customers and ensuring a great visit
• Lead by example, foster teamwork, and maintain positive employee relations
• Plan and adjust work schedules, assign duties, and monitor task completion
• Supervise store activities across departments and step in as needed
• Address customer issues promptly and professionally
• Train staff on policies and procedures and provide ongoing education
• Evaluate employee performance and recommend promotions or transfers
• Enforce safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment
• Manage merchandise orders, deliveries, and inventory quality
• Coordinate display locations and ensure product availability
• Review payroll-related records and manage confidential information
• Handle cash registers and various transactions
• Identify cost-reduction opportunities and optimize shelf allocation
• Maintain adherence to Hy-Vee policies and store guidelines
• Report to work as scheduled and on time
