Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts in Missouri seeks a Retail Service Specialist to support Store Manager and Assistants in sales, service and operations, with shift management duties in their absence.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills required.
• Bilingual Spanish a plus.
• Experience in retail sales is preferred.
• Automotive knowledge is beneficial.
• ASE certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise showroom service levels and execute service programs.
• Answer phones according to policy and manage inquiries.
• Process buy online/ship to store, transfers, and add orders; notify customers on shipment arrivals.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases per procedure.
• Process returns and exchanges with courtesy and accuracy.
• Invoice merchandise including cores and warranties before product leaves the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks.
• Ensure adherence to work schedules and proper clock-in/out procedure.
• Perform opening/closing duties, manage day-end procedures and deposits.
