Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to assist the Store Manager in sales, customer service, and store operations in Seymour, MO. This role also covers shift management in the absence of store leadership and requires strong communication with customers and team members.

Responsibilities include supervising showroom service levels, processing orders, handling returns, opening/closing duties, and ensuring accurate cashier procedures.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution abilities.
• Fluency in multiple languages is a plus, especially Spanish.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification within a specified period.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise in-store customer service programs and showroom execution.
• Answer calls per company policy and process buy online/ship to store orders and transfers.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently.
• Process returns, refunds, and restocking according to policy.
• Ensure merchandise is invoiced and security procedures followed during opening/closing.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks.
• Ensure staff clock in/out and adhere to schedule; perform day-end procedures and deposits.
