Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and store operations. This role will also assume shift management responsibilities in the absence of Assistant or Store Manager.

• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels in the showroom and ensure adherence to service programs (Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, Rock the Lot).
• Ensure telephone calls are answered per policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store-to-store transfers, and DC add orders promptly, contacting customers on shipment arrivals as needed.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently and according to procedure.
• Process returns and exchanges, issue refunds correctly, and stage returned merchandise appropriately.
• Ensure merchandise including core charges and warranties is invoiced before product leaves the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate Image Maker and merchandising tasks.
• Ensure adherence to posted work schedules and proper clock-in/out practices.
• Perform all store opening/closing duties and day-end procedures, secure money/deposits, and lock up.Additional duties as assigned.
