Job summary

Nordstrom seeks an Asset Protection Agent to protect people, property, and product accuracy in-store. You will partner with the Emergency Response Team, monitor through video systems and RFID, and lead investigations into theft and safety incidents.

Responsibilities include conducting security audits, reporting incidents, and coordinating with leadership, law enforcement, and other stores. A license is required where applicable and a flexible schedule is needed.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Resolve theft using policy compliant apprehension techniques.
• Identify theft trends via data, reporting and surveillance.
• Lead shrinkage reduction through action plans and standards.
• Investigate internal theft with AP leadership and teams.
• Monitor activity with video systems and support investigations.
• View merchandise movement using RFID data for accuracy.
• Maintain safety of customers and employees; respond to incidents.
• Lead audits, participate in store meetings, and shrinkage awareness training.
• Serve on the store Emergency Response Team (ERT) and training.
• Prepare prompt incident and investigation reports; testify when required.
• Build cross-functional partnerships with store leaders and law enforcement.
