Job summary

Burlington is seeking a part-time Shortage Control Associate to help maintain a secure shopping environment while delivering excellent customer service. You will greet customers at store entrances, monitor for theft, and communicate prevention measures with confidence and energy.

The role requires standing for long periods and reporting suspicious activity to leadership. Base pay starts at $13.00 per hour, with benefits outlined for part-time associates, including an associate discount.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, Asset Protection, Loss Prevention, or Operations preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, monitor store environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers entering or exiting the store with a warm smile and a loud, friendly greeting.
• Monitor entrance and high-risk areas to reduce theft opportunities.
• Communicate theft prevention information during rallies and trainings.
• Report theft incidents or suspicious activity to the Manager on Duty.
