Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking a Security Specialist to maintain a safe and secure environment at store entrances and on the sales floor. You will demonstrate a visible command presence, greet customers, and deter theft in alignment with our loss prevention directives.

Qualifications

High School education or equivalent required, AA degree preferred.
Active Security Guard License preferred.
One year retail supervisor experience or similar training preferred.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with the Store team.
Excellent Customer service skills.
Proven ability to effectively resolve conflict.

Responsibilities

Maintain a safe and secure environment at store entrances/exits and on the sales floor.
Provide visible command presence and greet customers to deter theft.
Monitor for potential safety issues and coordinate with Store Leadership.
Assist with loss prevention initiatives and uphold company directives.
Develop partnerships with store leadership and staff.
Represent the Ross brand with professionalism and integrity.
Ensure compliance with applicable laws and background screening requirements.
