Job summary

Steve Madden Ltd is seeking a Sales Supervisor to support the management team in a fast-paced footwear retail environment in Kentucky. The role focuses on leading a dynamic team, achieving sales targets, and delivering outstanding customer service.

As a supervisory leader, you will train staff, coordinate floor operations, and act as a key link between customers, store staff, and store leadership. This full-time position requires flexibility to cover day, evening, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2-3 years of retail experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to coordinate people, resources, and services to address business goals and needs.
• Excellent team-building skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the team to hit sales targets while delivering exceptional customer service.
• Help train and develop a successful sales team.
• Ensure customer service initiatives address issues quickly and courteously.
• Serve as a liaison between customers, sales associates, and store management.
• Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and corporate staff.
• Support store operations, including merchandising and housekeeping as needed.
• Be flexible and willing to perform tasks outside of your role when required.
