Job summary

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Manager of Sales and Service to support the management team in delivering World-Class service. You will supervise to ensure staffing coverage and serve as a role model for customer relationships, maintaining a presence on the sales floor.

The role focuses on coaching peers, driving sales, and delivering an exceptional shopping experience across the store.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, organization and leadership skills.
• Superior critical thinking to identify challenges and actions.
• Great time management and ability to handle multiple tasks.
• 2-3 years of retail sales or customer service management experience.

Responsibilities

• Leads the store team to create an exceptional experience for customers and exceed sales goals
• Ensure the sales floor is adequately staffed and coach staff on selling and service
• Reinforce customer service principles by coaching staff on successes and challenges
• Educate team on product knowledge and selling skills to achieve business goals
• Create a positive environment where associates are treated fairly and with dignity
• Ensure timely resolution of client service issues including delivery/pick-up and outstanding issues
