Job summary

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Manager of Sales and Service to support the management team in delivering World-Class service and building strong customer relationships. The role ensures store supervision and appropriate staff coverage to meet sales goals.

The incumbent will lead by example on customer interactions, coaching and product knowledge, and will prioritize the customer experience while driving sales results in a full-time, on-site store environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, organization and leadership skills.
• Superior critical thinking skills to identify challenges and develop action plans.
• Great time management and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• 2-3 years of previous retail sales or customer-service management experience.

Responsibilities

• Leads the store team to create an exceptional customer experience and exceed sales goals.
• Ensure adequate staffing on the sales floor while modeling sales generation and service.
• Coach staff to reinforce customer service principles and improve performance.
• Educate team on product and selling skills using Selling Essentials and training resources.
• Maintain a positive, fair environment in line with our People-First philosophy.
• Resolve client service issues including delivery/pick-up using client information systems.
