Michaels Oneonta, NY is seeking a Sales Manager to lead a high-performing selling culture across the store, drive sales results, and deliver an engaging customer experience. You will oversee front-end and service operations, enforce brand standards, and model customer-focused coaching.

You will provide Manager-on-Duty coverage, coach team members, ensure POS/Self-Checkout accuracy, promote the Loyalty Rewards Program, and oversee programs like Balloons and Knit & Sew Shop, along with Same Day

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Ability to coach and develop team members.
• Strong customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading SOPs and company programs.
• Ensure execution of policies, brand standards and store conditions.
• Model and coach Customer Experience and selling behaviors.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and maintain floor leadership.
• Oversee POS and Self-Checkout usage for smooth transactions.
• Oversee in-store programs (Balloons, Birthday parties, Knit & Sew Shop).
• Promote Loyalty Rewards Program to drive retention.
• Drive omni-channel service including BOPIS and Same Day Delivery.
• Train and develop team through onboarding and ongoing skill-building.
• Support Asset Protection to reduce shrink.
