Job summary

Michaels is seeking a Sales Manager in NJ to lead a high-performing store team, drive sales results, and ensure an engaging customer experience. You will supervise front-end operations, POS efficiency, and service standards while promoting loyalty programs and MCC/Extend services.

You will coach staff, ensure SOP compliance, and manage coverage as MOD, with a focus on omni-channel fulfillment and events across departments such as Balloons and Knit & Sew Shop.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of retail leadership experience.
• Experience in leading front-end and service operations.
• Ability to train and coach team members effectively.

Responsibilities

• Lead store operations and front-end selling behaviors to drive brand standards and KPIs.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and maintain floor leadership and service standards.
• Drive loyalty program enrollment and omni-channel order fulfillment.
• Oversee specialty areas and in-store programs (Balloons, Knit & Sew Shop, Cut Bar).
• Coach and develop associates through onboarding and ongoing training.
