Job summary

The Michael's Companies in Saint Cloud, MN seeks a Sales Manager to lead a high-performing selling culture and day-to-day store operations. You will drive sales KPI achievement, coach the team on customer-focused selling, and partner with Store Manager to ensure SOP compliance and exceptional service.

You will oversee front-end operations, POS usage, and in-store programs while providing MOD coverage and a strong omnichannel experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Ability to lead front-end and service operations while ensuring SOP compliance.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading SOPs and enforcing company programs.
• Model and coach customer experience and selling behaviors to drive conversion.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and maintain floor leadership.
• Ensure accurate use of POS and Self-Checkout systems.
• Oversee events and in-store programs (Balloons, Knit & Sew Shop, etc.).
• Drive omni-channel service and timely order fulfillment (BOPIS/SDD).
• Train and develop team members through onboarding and ongoing coaching.
• Maintain asset protection and reduce shrink through adherence to policies.
