The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking a Sales Manager for the Richfield, MN area to lead selling culture and drive strong customer experience across front-end and service operations.

You will coach and develop team members, ensure SOP compliance, and manage key in-store programs to maximize sales and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include MOD coverage, POS accuracy, loyalty enrollment, and oversight of specialty areas like Knits & Sew and custom framing, with weekend and night

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Experience managing front-end and service operations.
• Strong customer-focused coaching and leadership.
• Familiarity with POS and Self-Checkout systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading SOPs and company programs.
• Coach staff on Customer Experience and selling behaviors.
• Provide MOD coverage and maintain store standards.
• Oversee POS/self-checkout operations and customer support.
• Drive loyalty program enrollment and omni-channel service.
• Lead knits & sew shop, framing, and in-store events as assigned.
• Support asset protection and store safety initiatives.
