Job summary

Michaels is seeking a Sales Manager for the Kenosha, WI store to lead a high-performing selling culture across the front-end and service operations, driving strong sales results and an engaging customer experience.

You will coach team members, ensure SOPs and brand standards, manage POS and checkout flows, and oversee store programs such as Loyalty, BOPIS, and Same Day Delivery while supporting a safe, compliant and inclusive work environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of retail leadership experience.
• Ability to lead front-end and service operations.
• Strong customer-focused coaching.

Responsibilities

• Lead and champion selling culture, driving conversion and customer satisfaction.
• Assist Store Manager in enforcing SOPs and Company programs to ensure compliance with laws and requirements.
• Model and coach best-in-class Customer Experience and ART of Selling behaviors.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage, maintaining floor leadership and service standards.
• Ensure accurate and efficient use of POS and Self-Checkout systems, supporting smooth transactions.
• Oversee in-store programs and events (Balloons, Birthday parties, Knit & Sew Shop, loyalty promotions).
• Drive omni-channel service including BOPIS and Same Day Delivery, delivering timely order fulfillment.
