Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking a Sales Manager for a Columbia, MO store. You will lead front-end and service operations, coach teams on customer experience and selling behaviors, and ensure SOPs, policies, and brand standards are consistently executed.

You will also manage POS operations, loyalty programs, and in-store events, with a focus on driving sales, omni-channel fulfillment, and losses prevention. Night/weekend shifts are typical in this role.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead front-end and service operations to ensure selling behaviors and brand standards.
• Coach team members to improve customer experience and conversion.
• Oversee POS and Self-Checkout accuracy and efficiency.
• Manage in-store programs (Loyalty, MCC/Extend protection) and omni-channel services (BOPIS, Same Day Delivery).
