Job summary

J.Jill is seeking a Sales Lead to support store leadership in driving sales and team development. You will foster genuine customer connections, coach team members, and contribute to delivering an exceptional shopping experience in a welcoming, inclusive environment.

You will maintain product knowledge, assist with operations, and act as a role model to empower the team. This role is based in-store and requires flexibility to work weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of retail experience, preferably in women’s specialty retail or sales-driven environment.
• Passion for customer service and building meaningful relationships.
• Strong ability to support, inspire, and motivate a team.
• Proven track record of contributing to sales and customer engagement.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive, solution-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Act as a role model by developing and maintaining strong customer relationships through genuine interactions.
• Assist in training and developing team members, providing coaching and support for success.
• Help drive store performance by identifying customer needs, providing personalized styling recommendations, and contributing to sales targets.
• Maintain deep knowledge of J.Jill’s products to support confident purchasing decisions.
• Assist with store operations, including opening/closing, visual merchandising, inventory, and policy adherence.
• Take ownership of responsibilities, address challenges with a solution-oriented mindset, and support leadership.
• Communicate effectively across organizational levels with tailored messaging.
• Perform additional duties to help the store be successful.
