J.Jill is seeking a Sales Lead to partner with store leadership, drive sales, and support team members in delivering an exceptional shopping experience. You will build genuine connections with customers and represent the brand’s inclusive culture in the community.

Responsibilities include coaching staff, meeting sales targets, maintaining product knowledge, and supporting store operations while upholding company policies. The role requires flexible scheduling and weekend availability.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of retail experience, preferably in women’s specialty retail or a strong sales, customer-obsessed environment.
• Passion for customer service and building meaningful relationships.
• Strong ability to support, inspire, and motivate a team.
• Proven track record of contributing to sales and customer engagement.

Responsibilities

• Act as a role model by developing and maintaining strong customer relationships through genuine interactions. Support community engagement initiatives to strengthen brand presence.
• Assist in training and developing team members, leading by example, and providing coaching and support to ensure team success.
• Help drive store performance by identifying customer needs, providing personalized styling recommendations, and contributing to achieving sales targets.
• Maintain deep knowledge of J.Jill’s products to support customers in making confident purchasing decisions.
• Assist with store operations, including opening and closing store, manager on duty, visual merchandising, floor sets, inventory management, and adherence to company policies.
• Take ownership of assigned responsibilities, proactively address challenges with a solution-oriented mindset, and support leadership in maintaining a meaningful customer experience.
• Navigate various communication settings across different levels of the organization, adjusting messaging to fit diverse audiences.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to help your store be successful.
