Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. seeks a Store Sales Manager in Burlington, NJ to lead a high-performing selling culture across the store, driving strong sales and an engaging customer experience.

• 3+ years retail leadership experience
• Ability to lead front-end and service operations
• Strong customer-focused coaching and development skills
• Experience with POS and Self-Checkout systems

Responsibilities

• Lead front-end and service operations to ensure selling culture and KPI achievement.
• Coach team on Customer Experience and ART of Selling behaviors to improve conversion and satisfaction.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and maintain floor leadership and service standards.
• Oversee store programs including balloons, parties, loyalty enrollment, protection plans and omni-channel shopping (BOPIS, Same Day Delivery).
• Support framing operations and department onboarding and training.
• Partner to maintain Asset Protection practices and reduce shrink.
