Michaels in Burlington, NJ is hiring a Sales Manager to lead front-end and service operations, ensuring a standout customer experience and adherence to brand standards. The role focuses on driving sales through coaching, SOP compliance, and efficient daily execution.

You will oversee MOD coverage, optimize POS and Self-Checkout usage, and manage events and loyalty programs while promoting protection plans and omnichannel services such as BOPIS and Same Day Delivery.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading and managing adherence to SOPs and Company programs.
• Ensure execution of Company policies and standards, holding team accountable for store conditions and results.
• Model and coach Customer Experience and ART of Selling behaviors, driving conversion and customer satisfaction.
• Provide MOD coverage, maintaining floor leadership, service standards, and operational continuity.
• Ensure accurate and efficient use of POS and Self-Checkout systems, supporting smooth transactions and customer support.
• Oversee in-store programs and events (e.g., balloons, birthday party operations).
• Promote and enroll customers in the Loyalty Rewards Program to drive retention and visits.
• Drive sales and operational excellence in Knit & Sew Shop and Cut Bar experience oversight.
• Ensure efficient execution of BOPIS and Same Day Delivery for omni-channel service.
• Support Custom Framing operations, including customer consultations where applicable.
• Train, coach, and develop team members through TM onboarding and ongoing skill-building.
• Partner in Asset Protection practices to reduce shrink.
