Job summary

The Michaels Companies in Myrtle Beach, SC seeks a Sales Manager to lead selling culture, drive sales and deliver exceptional customer experiences. You will oversee front-end operations, POS performance, and in-store events while coaching a team to meet store KPIs.

Responsibilities include SOP adherence, customer-centric coaching, Manager-on-Duty coverage, and omni-channel services such as BOPIS and Same Day Delivery, with opportunities to lead loyalty programs and protection plan offerings.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Ability to lead front-end and service operations.
• Proven coaching and customer-focused leadership.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading SOPs and company programs.
• Ensure adherence to policies and standards; hold team accountable.
• Model and coach customer experience and selling behaviors.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage; maintain floor leadership and service standards.
• Ensure efficient use of POS and Self-Checkout; support transactions.
• Oversee events like balloons, loyalty, and in-store programs.
• Drive omni-channel service with BOPIS and Same Day Delivery.
• Train and develop team members through onboarding and ongoing coaching.
• Partner to maintain Asset Protection practices and reduce shrink.
