Job summary

Michaels Stores in Portland is seeking a store team member to deliver friendly customer service, help shoppers locate products, and ensure a fast, accurate checkout experience. You will participate in truck unloading, stocking, and maintaining in-stock shelves while supporting omnichannel processes like BOPIS and Ship From Store.

Applicants should have retail or customer service experience and be comfortable standing for long periods in a climate-controlled store environment.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and enrollments
• Educate customers on VOC surveys
• Assist with Omni channel processes: BOPIS and SFS
• Stocking, unloading trucks, and planogram (POGs) upkeep
• Maintain in-stock conditions and handle merchandise returns/go-backs
• Support shrink and safety programs and adhere to SOPs
