Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking a team member to assist customers, process transactions, and participate in omnichannel services like BOPIS and SFS. You will help maintain a well-merchandised store and support curb-to-store operations.

You will engage customers in rewards programs, support safety and shrink programs, and be cross-trained in framing sales and production. This role requires standing long hours and lifting, with weekend/evening shifts common.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Card enrollments
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
• Assist with Omni channel processes including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance including returns
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and Company programs to ensure compliance with laws and company policies
• Interact positively and professionally with others; model company values
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
