Job summary

Michaels is hiring at our Portland/OC store location to deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced retail environment. You’ll help shoppers find products, ring up purchases, and promote rewards programs while maintaining store standards and assisting with stocking and merchandising.

Ideal candidates have prior retail or customer service experience, flexibility to work nights/weekends, and a commitment to a positive store experience for every guest.

Qualifications

• Retail customer service experience preferred.
• Experience handling cash accurately.
• Knowledge of products and promotions helpful.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout experience and accurate cash handling.
• Engage customers with rewards and credit program enrollments.
• Educate customers on VOC surveys and Omni channel processes (BOPIS/SFS).
• Assist with truck unload, stocking, and planogram execution.
• Maintain in-stock conditions and perform store recovery tasks.
