Job summary

Michaels in Portland, OR is seeking outgoing, friendly associates to help customers on the sales floor and at checkout, including early-morning unload and merchandising tasks. You should be able to lift 30 lbs, read instructions, and stock merchandise while assisting customers with finding items.

You will deliver a fast, friendly checkout, support Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store, participate in truck unloads, planograms, recovery, and safety programs, and stay compliant with SOPs.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers locate products and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers in Rewards program enrollment and Private Label Credit Cards.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Maintain store recovery and in-stock conditions; merchandise return/go back process.
• Support shrink and safety programs; follow SOPs and company policies.
