Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking a Loss Prevention Specialist to maintain a safe store environment and deter theft. You will monitor entrances/exits, greet customers, and assist leadership in loss prevention initiatives while upholding company values and policies.

The role requires standing for long periods, working in a fast-paced retail setting, and collaborating with store teams to minimize shrink and ensure customer safety.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent required.
• AA degree preferred.
• Retail supervisor experience or training preferred.
• Active security guard license preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to resolve conflicts and build relationships with store team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment at store entrances/exits and throughout the sales floor.
• Provide visible presence and greet customers to deter theft and ensure safety.
• Assist Store Leadership in Loss Prevention and minimize operational shortage.
• Monitor for potential safety issues and communicate with Loss Prevention leadership.
• Support execution of Company Best Practices to maximize productivity and minimize steps.
