Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking a Loss Prevention Specialist to maintain a safe shopping environment and deter theft at store entrances. You will greet customers, monitor for suspicious activity, and partner with store leadership to implement security directives.

In this role you will uphold Ross values, work with a dedicated team, and contribute to minimizing operational shortages while delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced retailer environment.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent required; AA degree preferred.
• Retail supervisory experience preferred.
• Loss prevention/security training preferred.
• Active Security Guard License preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, secure environment for associates and customers.
• Provide visible presence and greet customers at entrances/exits.
• Work with store leadership to comply with loss prevention directives.
• Mitigate theft indicators and address suspicious behavior on the floor.
• Assist in minimizing operational shortage and train associates on shrink reduction.
