Ross Stores is seeking a Loss Prevention Specialist to protect people and assets at our stores. You will greet customers, deter theft, and partner with store leadership to enforce safety and shrinkage controls.

Responsibilities include monitoring entrances, communicating theft indicators, training associates on shortage reduction, and upholding Ross's values while maintaining a professional appearance.

Qualifikationen

• High School education or equivalent; AA degree preferred.
• One year retail supervisor experience or similar training.
• One year loss prevention/security training preferred.
• Active Security Guard License preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with the Store team.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Proven ability to resolve conflict and maintain safety.

Aufgaben

• Maintain a safe and secure environment for associates and customers.
• Provide visible presence at store entrances/exits and on the sales floor.
• Monitor for theft indicators and communicate findings to Store Leadership and Loss Prevention.
• Support Loss Prevention initiatives and partner with Store Leadership to minimize shortages.
• Instruct and educate Associates on shortage reduction initiatives and proper checkout procedures.
